Removing the Asbestos

According to the NSW Government pamphlet Fibro & Asbestos - A Renovator & Home Owners Guide the use of asbestos was not discontinued in fibro sheets until about 1982. So given that our little redbrick was constructed some time during the early 60's, it stands to reason that the fibro in the eaves contains some of this nasty stuff. It's for good reason then the builders suited up to get rid of it.

Even so, I think they may have been having a little too much fun playing dress-ups. Or maybe it was just a response to seeing the camera.
