The Chinese Laundry

Along with the toilet, the demolition of the back of the house meant we also lost the laundry. Like most households with kids close and ready access to facilities for washing and drying laundry is for us more of a necessity than a luxury. We usually wash a couple of times during the week as well as on the weekends, well, not any more!

The solution? It's not great as we can't use it while the builders are working, but we've moved the washer and dryer out to the garage. With the assistance of a few hose fittings and some extra long hoses (both kindly supplied by our builder who it seams has done this before) we have an answer. Well, at least part of one, because as Murphy would have it our clothes dryer has picked now of all times to pack it in. Seconds World here we come!
